6 Looks You May Have Missed

Today I am bringing you six new looks from Target, Walmart, and Gap Factory that I have been wearing lately. A few outfits I am sharing different ways to style an item that is perfect for summer. Many of these items can be worn now and later, which is always an added plus for me. Don’t we all love the items that can be worn year-round? The perfect white shirt, the fabulous pair of khakis, or a cute black dress that are closet staples…we all have these items, right? If not, then I have you covered! Let me know what you think of the looks!

Have you tried the girlfriend twill pants from Gap Factory? These are some of my faves! Period! Love the look of these pants with heels or with sandals or sneakers. Roll them up or leave them unrolled; the different ways to style a great twill pant are endless. I decided to style the classic boyfriend shirt in two different ways; which way do you like best? My favorite is the outfit with the pumps! I love the casual chic vibe! The girlfriend pants fit TTS, have stretch in them, and comes in multiple colors. See them here.

Ok…this puffed sleeve tee shirt dress from Scoop is SOOO worth trying! It’s only $17 and a recent Walmart find that is so soft and very flattering! I think I like it even better because it is so slimming! It runs true to size and has a relaxed fit. I am wearing a medium and it fits perfectly. I styled it with a gauze shirt unbuttoned and wore it tied at the waist and loved the relaxed look. See the dress here before they get gone!

The gauze tank (only $15 and comes in multiple colors) was a huge hit with everyone, and I personally – am loving it. It also looks adorable over a fitted white tee and shorts if you don’t like showing too much skin. I got a few more pieces from Target and tried it with these wide-leg pants in brown by A New Day. These are mid-rise and have a crinkled texture look to them and front pockets for convenience. A great option for weekend outfits or when you want to lounge around at home. These fit TTS, and I am wearing a medium for reference. See the pants here.

These cute Ikat smocked waist shorts were in my cart for so long, I almost forgot they were in there, lol. I finally bought them, and all I can say is…what was I waiting for?? These are so adorable, comfortable and look great with tanks, blouses, or tees. The length is perfect to style with sneakers, flats, or heels (if you want a dressier look). These shorts come in the red print I am wearing and a gorgeous beige with palm trees; both are great prints for the summer. I have been raving about the Marc Jacob Bryte sandals, so when I found that they were on sale I had to add them in just in case Macy’s extends the sale! I’m not sure how long the sale is going on, but I’m crossing my fingers they extend the sale. I sized up 1/2 size in these sandals and have two pairs. These come in multiple colors and are the “go-to” sandal for the summer! See them here. Are you loving the studded sandals this summer, or are you more of a “toned” down type of sandal girl?

Today we are prepping for Barry’s hip replacement surgery tomorrow. I cannot describe how excited he is to get a part of him ripped out and replaced…UGG! I’m sure he is tired of the pain, however, all I can do is cringe thinking about the surgery. Say a prayer for him and me that all goes well.     Praying for Barry! He will do great! I had a knee replaced years ago and thought why didn’t I do it sooner!!!!

      Thank you!! It’s been one crazy spring and summer for us. The devil is at work!! Whew!! Prayers appreciated!! (More for my sweet Rae, Barry can tough it out lol) just kidding!! Barry’s surgery has taken Raegan’s mind off things, she’s been helping out with him. But I can tell her heart is totally broken. 🥲

      Hey Lisa!! I miss you, but I know you’re life is as busy as mine!! Thank you for the prayers. He’s doing well, but he sure thought it would be over and he’d be back to work in a couple of days. Not so!! I have officially changed my title of mom/wife/daughter to NURSE! And I’m not that good at it, but I am trying. Barry has a great attitude, so he’s not too bad. I have to keep him moving but my mom…another story lol!! She’s 80 and keeps having setbacks. My brother did step up and stay with her and run her errands yesterday so I could be with barry. Now we just have to help Rae mourn her loss. I feel sooo bad for her. My heart just breaks! Gosh, I’m a Debbie downer — sorry!! Happy National Hotdog 🌭 Day!! ❤️😘
