2 Summer Looks For Work Or Play
While I was grabbing up a few items to bring more color into my wardrobe from Talbots, I finally plunged in and bought the perfect cropped pants. When they say the perfect Cropped Pants, they seriously mean it! These pants are so lightweight, comfortable, you can wear them all day and there is little to no wrinkle and they come in so many color options! I just ordered a white pair in the perfect cropped pants for the summer (who doesn’t need an extra pair of white pants, LOL). Since we are back on weekly date nights, I gotta step up my game and get out of the lounge shorts and tees, LOL! I did want to mention a few things about these pants: the waist is unbelievably comfortable, it doesn’t feel tight after you eat, it gives with you, and that puts it at the top of my must-haves in pants. I wanted to share this casual outfit because these 5″ Mid-Rise Khaki Shorts from Gap Factory were on sale for only $10 when I scheduled this post and they wear soooo good! These fit TTS and they also come in an adorable watermelon color on sale for $19. I am wearing a size 10 for reference. The olive gauze blouse is a Candace Cameron Bure fave of mine and they have restocked most of the sizes. This blouse comes in a few more colors also, see all the details below the picture. **This is a thinner gauze material and I have worn it on 90-degree days without feeling hot or sweaty.
I’m sharing a closeup of these sneakers because I AM OBSESSED! I actually thought I had ordered the plain white, but I must have ordered the marble look. And I LOVE them! I am wearing my normal size and they are from Target. They have a slight wedge platform which makes them a comfortable sneaker to wear all day. These are so cute with shorts and absolutely adorable with jeans! See the sneakers here.

Good morning
I love those crop pants. There is a Talents right around the corner from me. I never think to go because of the prices.😉 I will check them out. I am in the process of growing out my bangs. They are to the side but constantly fall in my eyes. Would you share some tips for styling them in your video?

I do have a video under the Hair Tab on my page that shows 7 ways to wear your bangs while growing them out. My “go to” is to twist them and pin them to the side under my hair. It works best if you have some volume in your hair though. Hopefully Barry will watch Brooklyn a little at some point today and I can get a video up for volume in your hair. It’s a magnificent product that literally lasts for days!! Good luck with the bangs!! It’s soooo frustrating ❤️❤️

What size are you wearing in the olive shirt, I see reviews that it runs very small and tight in the arms. What are your thoughts?

I bought a large and it’s plenty roomy. I normally wear a medium or a large. I will buy a large in button downs normally because of my chest area. The arms fit great. No problems.

Great!! I’m a little bigger in my chest, ( thank you Covid lol) so I’m finding Larges are fitting better without the gapping.

Morning. $10 shorts? Now that’s my kind of deal haha. I’m loving that olive shirt with those shorts and those shoes? I haven’t worn any like it but I’m going to have to get out of my comfort zone and get me some. They sure do look comfy and go perfectly with that outfit. I also love the crop pants. My plans today is grocery shopping and folding laundry & whatever else I can accomplish today 😬. Enjoy your day 🙃

I’m trying to go out of my comfort zone also, but the shoes are so stinking cute and wear great!! The marble or tie dye look is very muted, so it was an easy add on. Have fun folding that laundry. Uggggggg 😂😂😂

I just received my overall pants from Walmart (I live in a VERY rural community and have to order everything) and I’m so excited to wear them. Since following you, my clothes shopping has increased. lol! I’m not mad. I needed help! Thanks for keeping it real with Walmart (honestly not my favorite but I’m trying to be open-minded) and Target. I love that you use some nicer pieces as well. Thanks for your wardrobe help!!!
