Vacation Looks From Target
Who is ready for a vacation? Somewhere you can feel the sun on your face, hear the waves crashing, and smell the salt air? I’m over here raising my hand…actually I’m waving both hands! HA! Most of us are getting ready to take a vacation or at least take off for a weekend, and that means vacation outfits! Today I am showcasing Target and some vacation items I picked up for our upcoming weekend beach trip. All of these items are very affordable and so flattering! Hope you love what I chose!
First up is the most popular dress at Target, a dress that is so comfortable and you will love for warmer days. This dress fits TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. This is a knit dress with a ruffle hem and v-neck neckline, a stellar combo for warmer days. It’s a perfect dress for casual dinner dates, fun in the sun, or running errands during the week or on weekends. For vacation, I will be styling this with a straw fedora (hat comes in multiple color options) and stepping it up with my quilted handbag and sandals. I highlighted this bag a few weeks ago in the Links + Loves post and I’m still loving it! Can you believe this cute backpack is from Amazon? I love the size (not too big, not too small), the chain detail in silver and gold, and I love the option that I can wear it as a backpack or a shoulder bag. It’s a perfect bag for a night out, especially with a Little Black Dress (LBD) that your husband likes lol! This flutter sleeve dress is so comfortable! Isn’t this smocked waist maxi dress a dress to love? Simply put, this dress is super flattering and is adorable for the warmer months. Style this with a cute pair of wedges and a denim jacket for a cute weekend look, or style it with sandals and a straw handbag for a trendy chic look. Love your new flooring, it looks like it would be durable and the color is great!
I love color, so my pick is the red, smocked waist dress. It looks great with your skin tone. Is that a sun tan or “fake bake?” I am always looking for a new sunless lotion or towelette.

Thanks Sheryl! We are loving the look of the floors. Whoa! Was that a job! We did our entire house except for one bathroom, our kitchen and mud room. I have Greek ancestry ( way far back down the line) we all tan very easily. However, if I do not get in the sun I can get as white as a cotton ball ha! I have been outside, so it’s natural. Raegan in the other hand gates being in the sun unless she’s near water. Chase and Raegan have an olive complexion if they get outside. She goes for the St Tropez Mousse. It works great!!

Good Morning! I apologize up front but I can’t seem to find the flooring pics ☹️ if it’s on FB I don’t do social media. But I bet it looks amazing!! I love both of the black dresses and I agree with Sheryl that red smocked dress looks great on you with your skin tone. I love that dress as well. I’m hooked on black because it makes me feel and look thinner lol.. AND you can pair it with anything like a denim jacket and different style and color shoes. We had a good Easter weekend. I got to see my newly wed daughter so that made my day even better. Have a wonderful day and so happy to hear your mom is recovering well.

Thanks Eve!! I’m exhaling, but slowly lol. Still have a bit to do to finish the bathrooms, tubs being installed and some sheet rock put up. But we are close!! Thank the Lord 🤣

I like the short black dress. Wouldn’t it be darling in an ivory color?! Love the floors. Is that the waterproof ones? I forget what they call it …some kind of premium vinyl ? Or I’ve seen tile that looks like wood too. They did not have that kind of waterproof flooring when we did ours 8 or 9 years ago so we have laminate but it is not waterproof. We had a refrigerator leak years back before we lived at beach full time because the power had been out and the ice melted and water ended up on the floor so we have a small buckle in front of refrigerator. It’s not really noticeable, but I know it’s there. Oh well, that’s what rugs are for until we change the floors, lol! Have a good week.

Hey Gina!! Yes, these are the waterproof flooring. We did the entire house except for the kitchen, mud room and 1 bath. Water leaks are the worst and we had no clue it was as bad as it was till we started pulling sheet rock down and pulling out bathtubs. Oh my gosh! This is costing us as much as a couple semesters at college lol! Sighhhhh
