Today is all about the faves, new finds, what’s hot, and beauty must-haves. Brooklyn’s two-thumbs-up dinner, what I just downloaded on my Fire Tablet to read, and all the hot items over on my LikeToKnow.it page that other women are loving. I was looking for yet another athletic jacket to wear when I am walking at the park and I found this cutie! It is a perfect dupe for Lululemon and it’s only $40! This is a full zip hooded track jacket with zip pockets in the front. A super cute jacket to wear with leggings or joggers since the casual comfy trend is taking over. If you can’t decide which size to get, go up a size for a looser fit. If you get your true size it will be body-hugging. See the CRV Yoga Jacket here.

You will be seeing the Time and Tru mules (under $20 size up if you are 1/2 size) on the blog along with the cute braided sandals (under $20). These are already getting popular on social media and you girls know how things get gone quick! The braided sandals do not come in half sizes, so if you are in-between sizes I would size up.

I have shared the Bille razor before and many of you loved it! I recently got the new pink color and had to share this item again because it’s definitely the best shave you will get! I’ve used all kinds of razors and trust me, this is the very best that I have tried. We keep the shaving cream in our house at all times, even Chase uses it. If you remember, his style is a beard with the shaved head look, and he swears by the shaving cream. This is a subscription and we are never using old razors anymore. On my IG stories, I took a poll whether these Nike sneakers were keepers or not and the keepers won! These are the new Nike Court Vision Low Sneaker is a hot trend right now and the sizes are already getting limited. See the sneaker here. (Aren’t they cute?)

This Drybar Shower Cap is the holy grail of shower caps! A blogger friend told me about this one, and boy am I glad she did. This shower cap is lined with thick terrycloth material that absorbs all the moisture in the air. This means humidity never touches your hair and your hair looks the same coming out of the shower as it does going into it. I hang this on a hook outside the shower to dry. These Woven Mules are hot this season and will be getting gone quickly, I am certain of this. I have seen the woven mule everywhere and Walmart has these chic shoes for only $14! These come in wide widths also, and I normally size up 1/2 size when purchasing mules, mainly for the comfort and room. See the mules here.

Recipe Of The Week

This recipe for the Lazy Girl has been a top post for the past couple of years. I made it this week and I got two thumbs up from Brooklyn, and she is picky! See the recipe here. Next week I will be sharing my Chicken & Gravy in the crockpot.

Books I Started Reading This Week

Thanks to Christine telling me about Where the Crawdads Sing, I am now officially hooked! Thanks for the suggestion Christine!! I also downloaded The Silent Patient and it is a page-turner, it’s a thriller and has thousands of good reviews! I have really enjoyed my new Fire Tablet and have had it in my hand non-stop here lately. Reading a great book is helping me find myself again, it’s keeping me off social media and all the negativity going on in the world. It has been a great escape and it has made Brooklyn more interested in reading as well.

    Good morning Beverly. I love mules, it’s just a little too cold here in NY to wear them yet. The recipe looks great! Since I work all week it’s perfect for a quick dinner. If you need another book try American Dirt. The story will stay with you long after the book is done. Have a great weekend❤️

      So glad you discovered “Where the Crawdads Sing”! I just read this recently myself and fell in love with this book – it has easily become my most favorite book of all time. Even my mother feels the same way (it knocked “Gone With the Wind” off its pedestal for her).

    Hi Beverly, I am so happy to know you are loving your fire! There are a couple of websites you can join for free and everyday they send you an email with free and super low deals. (I normally go for the free ones, but sometimes a favorite author pops up for .99) Can you tell my favorite job was working at the library? Lol

    I found the woven mules in my local Walmart marked down to $9. I normally wear a 10 in mules but these run a little bit so a 9.5 fits fine. Very comfy.
