Lilac & Floral Outfit Ideas

Spring colors are coming out and I have seen lilac out in many of the stores and online. I love the tone of this color and it can be easily worn with any color of denim and is beautiful in floral prints. Today I am sharing a gorgeous ruched sleeve tee styled with jeans and a gorgeous floral mesh midi skirt. I am also showing a beautiful neutral floral maxi dress from Cato that I am seriously crushing on!

First up is an everyday look with jeans and the lilac ruched tee. Girls…the ruched tee is simply put, a winner! It is t-shirt material and very comfortable to wear and stands out with those sleeves. Scroll down to see the sleeves closer up. I styled this with a pair of skinny jeans and open-toe booties for the picture. I ended up wearing it with sneakers and this cardigan later on during the day. My jeans are from American Eagle and fit TTS, see them here.

Mesh skirts are everywhere right now and this floral print goes perfect with the ruched long sleeve tee from Target. This skirt can be styled with many different tops and is versatile for workwear and casual. I am wearing a medium in this skirt for reference, it does run a tad big, so you can size down one size. Isn’t it gorgeous? See the skirt here. It is limited in sizes, so I have linked more in the carousel below.

The sleeve detail on this tee is what makes it stand out. This tee comes in a charcoal and cream color also. This also comes in sizes XS-XXL. I am wearing a large for reference with plenty of room. See the tee here.

Are you a maxi dress lover? I have a love for these dresses that comes in waves. Sometimes I love them and other times I don’t want anything to do with them. It just depends on my mood lol! But this one has a boho vibe that I am digging! This Fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference, this comes in sizes from XS-XL. It’s under $35 and can be easily styled through spring, add a cute hat, a crossbody, and wedges for a “cool mom” vibe. The picture really does not do this dress justice, it is gorgeous in person ladies! Just gorgeous! See the dress here.

I am in the midst of virtual school with Brooklyn and sadly, it is not getting any better. She gets bored, she is starting to hate school, and she talks constantly about missing her friends. I feel so sorry for her! She is back in school for 2 days a week and that has seemed to help her a lot. I pray the “Vid” goes away soon! How are you girls doing with virtual school? Have a wonderful day and stay safe girls! XOXO

I know what you mean about the dresses. I use to wear them a lot especially in the summer months but I only have one in my closet right now. It was an easy way to dress though. Dress, sandals, straw bag, done. I never wore them in the winter but I can see them working with different jackets, I do like this sleeve.

Hello!! I’m not much of a skirt or dress gal but I love how they look on you and I’m loving that skirt. It’s simple and elegant at the same time. I need to get out of my comfort zone and wear that lol.. Praying your back heals quickly. Have a great day 💕

Thank you!! I don’t wear them much in the colder months, but I do like them in the summer. My back is on the mend, hopefully and all prayers are appreciated. Thank you and yes…get it, you will enjoy wearing it. 1 and done is awesome at times lol 😂

    hello
I love maxi skirts and dresses. I mostly wear them in the summer months. I like the skirt a lot. I work in a day care center and we have a center full of virtual learners. I work with kids everyday grades K-7th. Its definitely a challenge. Our kids go back march 1 2 days a week. Hopefully 4 in April. Its still going to be virtual however as school isn’t mandatory. So teachers have to teach to their class and their class from where ever they are learning from. Maybe things will be more normal come Sept.
