Loft Dresses + More

Have you tried the midi dress trend yet? And if you have…have you styled it with booties yet? I am sharing a few floral finds today and a midi dress that Brooklyn and Barry are loving! If I can get both of them to say, that’s a keeper, then I know you girls are going to love it. Today I am showing a couple of dresses and a coatigan (cardigan blazer) that I am obsessed with right now.

I was so excited about sharing this dress today and as I’m checking the stock, I was so disappointed to see that sizes are limited. I’m going to link all the dresses on sale below since the sale is so awesome right now. See below for tips to style a bootie with dresses!

So, let’s talk about the bootie trend with dresses! Here are some things to remember:

  1. Pointed Toe Booties are the trend right now, find a pair with a taller shaft rather than right at your ankle. I personally feel the taller shaft gives the look a dressier and hip look.
  2. If you are petite, try nude for your booties, as this will elongate your legs.
  3. If you like a cowboy boot, this gives a casual and fun vibe to your outfit. Style these with chunky sweater dresses or knit dresses.
  4. If you want your legs to look slimmer, try the wider cuffed boots or the popular scrunchy boot.

If you love a swing dress to wear with jackets and cardigans or alone, then this Floral Swing dress is one you might like. This dress is made with quality material (which I really like), it hangs on your body in a flattering way, and it’s on sale! The dress is limited in sizes since the sale is HUGE right now, see it here. It fits TTS and I am wearing a medium.

I am in love with the coatigan trend. Maybe you have seen these as “cardigan blazers,” these are more structured and are a great alternative for a blazer or coat. I first ordered the Juliette Sweater Blazer from J. Crew when it was on sale. I found a similar one from The Loft and is an item that is on constant repeat for me, I love wearing it with jeans and joggers.

Style this with all black or white for a casual chic outfit. This particular one has sold out, but I have found another one almost identical from J. Crew Factory for only $39, see it here. I styled it with this gorgeous Paisley Popover Blouse from Loft Outlet. This is a perfect lightweight blouse for every day or workwear and it’s only $15! See the blouse here. **Coatigan is sold out, see alternatives below

Thanks for stopping by the blog girls! I am with Brooklyn and we are about to get on Google School, this is always fun…lol! Is anyone else having a “time” getting your grandchild or child interested in watching the videos virtually? It seems I have to make Brooklyn watch story time 2-3 times before she actually listens to the story. Just curious…thanks for dropping a comment and letting me know! Stay safe my lovely friends! XOXO
