Winter Outfits To Keep You Warm

We are starting to feel the winter chill here in NC and that means the winter boots are coming out. With the wind-chill here we tend to keep our vests, pullovers, scarves, and coats in the mudroom as well. Today I am sharing a few outfits that I have been wearing on the colder days, they are casual, but can easily be worn throughout the week or weekend for running errands or hanging out.

My all-time favorite pullover is the Murray’s Toggery Shep Shirt by Vineyard Vines. This was one of those purchases that I splurged, and I do not regret it one bit. I have had this pullover for 3 years and it’s still looking great. These are on sale for $89 with code GOODLIFE. It fits TTS, and I sized up to a Large and love the comfy vibe. Sizes are limited, but I added more options are below.

My leggings are fleeced lined leggings with pockets that I wear in the winter. These are an #amazonfind and totally a win! Leggings fit TTS, I am wearing a medium. See the leggings here, they come in multiple colors and lengths. More boot options are below.

Another outfit for inspiration is the most popular on Pinterest right now. I styled all neutrals and added a pop of color with a buffalo check scarf. It’s a simple, casual outfit that can be worn for an everyday look but still looks put together. The Sweater is by Time and Tru, comes in multiple colors, and fits TTS. The vest and scarf are from Amazon, all outfit details are below. I added red shoelaces to my boots to give them a pop of color. These come with black boot laces if red is not your thing.

How many of you have the Time and Tru sweatshirts that are only $11? I have a few of these that I wear around the house with joggers or leggings when I’m outside walking. I decided to style this magenta Time and Tru sweatshirt with this Croft & Barrow Woven Quilted Vest. I love these vests and I think I have an obsession with them. They wear wonderfully and can be styled in so many ways. Try a darker chambray button-down, add a scarf with jeans and boots for a cute casual everyday outfit. See the sweatshirt here and the vest here. Both items fit TTS.

If you grabbed up the Fri-Yay sweater from yesterday’s post, it goes perfectly with the white/pink/grey plaid vest.

I also wanted to share this Faux Shearling Trim Utility Jacket with you girls. This is a great knockoff from the more expensive brands, and it’s under $55. I sized up in this and I am enjoying this winter coat. I was not ready to spend $150 or more for a winter coat, and this one is a great alternative. This is from Forever 21, see it here, sizes are limited.

Oh my gosh, it is too hot in Florida to keep the Christmas decor up … mine disappeared yesterday! Lol. I don’t want to leave anything in the house from 2020! It’s a fresh start … although we do have winter decor up since my son loves it! Thank you for ALL the uplifting post and laughs! You are a blessing to me! :0)

Oh my gosh, I feel the same way about 2029! Good bye and good riddance lol😂 Thank you so much for following and the comment. We do need to laugh every now and then 😂❤️

I only put my Christmas decorations up after Thanksgiving so I take down next Monday. Stay warm and I have a ‘pet’ squirrel who adopted me. 🙂

Are you serious? We had one get in the cylinder where the smoke goes out of a charcoal grill. It was hilarious watching Barry try and get him out 😂 My grandfather lived a block from us and had pecan trees, the squirrels would take the pecan out of his hand. Not these guys over here, they are all ADHD! 😂😂

Happy 2021 Beautiful Beverly…..I am looking forward to putting 2020 behind me. I will say our family has been extremely blessed this year with good health and I am ever so grateful to God. There have been a few challenges this year to say the least. I put up three trees and I have to start in November because of working full time and other responsibilities etc. so all the decorations are put away since I am off work until Monday. I love Christmas and I enjoy decorating so I have accumulated so many things over the years. I will say that even though Christmas of 2020 was filled with some anxiety due to Covid and the unknown my Christmas decorations brought me JOY. I did an Advent study through Proverbs 31 Ministries and it was phenomenal. I looked forward to studying it everyday. It brought me PEACE and COMFORT!!! Many Blessings of Health and Prosperity to you and your family.

I am the same way about Christmas, I love the decorations, lights, food ( ha)! We had a wonderful time this year snd I’m so glad I took time to be closer to Barry this year. It made a world of difference in our holiday. I can’t imagine how he feels inside, plus Chase’s father died this year- so being together doing projects really helped. I’ve done a study on Proverbs 31 before, they are phenomenal-you will enjoy it so much!! Love, hugs, snd blessings my sweet NC friend!! Happy New Year 🥳

I am watching a squirrel at my birdfeeder as I read your post! Love watching them! My family loves Christmas and wants the decorations up until Valentines every year. And like every year-not happening! Ours will come down next week when it fits in the schedule. 2020 had some challenges but I could see God’s protection and provision in the midst of it. Praying blessings for you and your family! I love your blog.

Happy New Year Shelly!! Thank you so much! Yes, God is in the midst of all this. I have prayed for a hedge of protection for our family and praying for all my followers. I actually could keep decorations up all year lol! We have so much remodeling going on from the water break I had to start clearing things out. We are picking out flooring soon snd the house will be painted so I must condense as much as I can. Hope your day is a great one snd blessings to you and yours!!

I alway go for the simplest thing I can put together so sweatshirts and jeans have been a favorite. I love boots too so generally all I need to run around in is a windbreaker. I love vest but I just find I don’t wear them when I buy them. It’s does upgrade a sweatshirt jeans look though. Happy New Year to you and your family and looking forward to reading your great blog next year. God Bless!
