Friday Target & Old Navy Finds

I’m back again with some great pieces from Target, Old Navy, and a couple things from Amazon and Kohl’s. I had planned an Amazon Try-On Haul for today, but these sweaters are on sale, and the sizes won’t last long. My favorite sweater is only $15, so these are items you will want first pick before they are out of stock. Also, be sure to scroll all the way down to see the Inspire Me Bracelet with a 15% off coupon code, and see who the winner of the Giveaway is!

If you like warm and cozy, then you are going to love this cutie! This sweater is on sale for only $25, so grab yours! This striped mock neck sweater comes in 4 color /pattern options, has an oversized fit for comfort, but can be half-tucked easily. Simply pair with your favorite skinny or flared jeans, throw your hair in a top knot, and finish off the look with a pair of oversized hoops for a complete ensemble that couldn’t be easier. Outfit details are below pics.

Outfit Details: // Sweater // Jeans (under $25) // Boots (similar from Target)

I really liked this look, because I can add items I already have (and probably some of you) to have a totally different look. It’s a chic casual outfit, forgiving for the mid-section, and actually gives you a longer and leaner look. I added my crossbody from Target for a perfect match. I know we all loved the rum crossbody from Talbots, but I found this one from Target at a much cheaper alternative for only

Outfit Details: // Sweater // Express Leggings (on sale for $15) // Boots // Crossbody

It finally got cold enough for me to wear my pink puffer jacket from Old Navy (on sale for 40% off), and I loved every minute of it. These jeans are probably my new faves, and they are from Old Navy. These have wonderful stretch, fit tts, have a small amount of distressing and patches that I am loving! These are the Mid-Rise Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny jeans, but they fit like regular skinny jeans, not too tight. These are under $25 and will go great with many of the sweaters and cardigans I have shown. Add some booties for an effortless casual outfit. See the jeans here.

Outfit Details: // Lightweight Puffer Jacket (40% off) // Sweater ($15) // Jeans (40% off) // Sorel Tivoli Boots (totally worth the price!)

Girls, this gorgeous sweater is only $15 – yes, you read that right! Only $15! Holy cow! This lightweight animal print inspired sweater fits TTS and has a hint of spandex in it. This is an easy piece to dress up or down, weekend wear, or workwear – it’s a must-have. Girls, seriously, this is a GREAT buy! See it here.

My plaid shirt is from Kohl’s, and if you haven’t checked them out lately, they are having a huge sale right now. The olive plaid shirt is on sale for $21; see it here along with the Kohl’s sale. Use code SAVE15 for extra savings.

Outfit Details: // Plaid Shirt // Sweater // Jeans // Boots

The pullover design and at-waist cut make for an easy fit, and the crew neckline adds even more comfort. Pair it with your choice of bottoms for a comfy everyday look, and add some eye-catching jewelry pieces to dress it up a little. (Isn’t it cute?)

Have you grabbed a pair of sherpa boots yet? You will want some, trust me! I got these from Target last season, and they are back again for an encore. These are cozy, not a high heel, easy to walk in, and looks great with jeans or sweater socks and leggings. The boots come in black and a sandy taupe color, see them here. I’ve been getting asked about my Christmas Tree Collar, so here are the deets! I got this from Amazon last year and I absolutely LOVE it! I’m thinking about putting something underneath it, but I can’t decide what. I bought the 30-inch and it’s back in stock. You can see it here.

If you are looking for a nice gift for your daughter or friend, these Inspire Me Bracelets are a great choice. Select sayings and verses are 20-30% off. Get an extra 15% off using code: BEVERLY15. I will post this code in the daily email so you can have it for easy access. Mine says, “I am with you always. Matthew 28:20”. Shop the bracelets here. I wanted a stacked look, so I added extra bracelets from Plunder. You can see the Plunder bracelets here.

Which look did you like best? And what are your thoughts on the sherpa hiking boots?

Hey girl!! You already got frost? Wow! It’s gotten cold at night but no frost. I was getting ready to go walk at the park the other morning and when I stepped outside , I immediately turned around. It was cold! I don’t want to go to the gym just yet, so I’m still walking outside. I have got to buy layers, the puffer jacket definitely keeps you warm!! They have all the colors online I think. Happy Friday ❤️❤️

Good morning! I’m fairly new to your blog and enjoy all of the items you try on for us. I ordered a Target cardigan for myself and my daughter a week or so ago and they just came; so cute!
Last time you showed the Eva Grace necklace I couldn’t resist. I bought one for each of my two sisters for Christmas and of course I had to have one for myself as well 😊 Their packaging is beautiful and delivery was quick. I’m very happy with that purchase.

Hey Kathy!! Aren’t those necklaces so pretty? I love Plunder!! They sold out, as soon as they come back in stock I will let everyone know. I’m glad you’re loving the blog!! Welcome!! We are always glad to have another girl join in!! That puffer jacket is my fave! I love it!! Hope you had a great day!! Thank you for following!!

Happy Friday! So I found your blog about a month ago and seeing your outfits has given me the courage to get out there and buy clothes again. Not that I was running around naked but I had gotten into a bit of a funk and just didn’t really care about fashion. Now just about everyday there is a package arriving! Saturday I came downstairs and I had jeans and a black and white flannel shirt and my fur lined duck boots on and my husband said Who are you???? I am slowly building up my wardrobe thanks to you! I do love my leggings. They are just so comfy. I’m still trying to find comfy jeans. I have a couple pair from Hollister. I’ll be turning 59 in a couple months and even though my body feels like I’m 80 some days, in my mind I’m still 30. Hope you have a great weekend and keep those outfit ideas coming! Lol

Awe!! I love this comment!! I’m so glad I am inspiring everyone. I know what it’s like to look in your closet and have plenty of clothes but nothing to wear. It’s so much easier when you have outfit inspiration!! I’m so glad you’re following along!! Welcome!!❤️❤️

Ahhhhh! I am trying so hard not to spend any money right now and you are making that so difficult, lol!! I really like the first sweater and especially like that it can be worn with leggings. I have a funny story for you. Remember how you suggested that I try Oil of Olay in the red bottle? Well, I thought that I had gotten it, tried and it and loved it. This morning as I was putting it on my face and then I was screwing the cover back on the container I realized that it isn’t even Oil of Olay!!!!! I got Loreal Revitalift, LOL!! I have been using it for about a week and just now realized what the heck I bought. In my defense I have been having health issues and obviously not in my right mind he he. At least I got something that I really like. I hope you have a wonderful relaxed and blessed weekend 🙂

New to your page and love your fashion. Quick question, I’m 5’2″ and wondering if the tunic sweater will make my legs look even shorter. Can someone with my height wear tunics?

    • Beverly

Welcome!! And thanks for following! Of course you can! I’d probably wear it with some cute heeled boots to give height. Hope that helps and have a great day!!

  • Robyn

You are so darn cute in everything. Thanks for all the great ideas!
I have a Christmas tree collar on our tree outside. I put a tree skirt underneath it and it looks great.
Out of curiosity, what area of the bank did you work in when you were in banking? I’ve been in the trust department for 33 years.

    • Beverly

That’s what I’m thinking I’m going to do. Not sure what kind of phony or color yet. Ok, so I started out at the bank as a teller, then I quit and went back to college and ended up as an accountant and reporting for the CFO. Then I went to the USPS and was a Corporate Trainer and traveled half the US. They started laying people off, so I told my boss to let me go and keep others that may need their job. Then I started the blog. Crazy that I came back to what I started out doing in my 20’s! Fashion and hair are my passions, although I am really good at numbers and training. At least I’m home now with the family. I missed out on a lot for a few years!! Trust is not the department I wanted lol!! Go girl🙌🏼

  • Robyn

That’s awesome! Trust clients can be very trying at times. Lol! My true passion is decorating and design. If I could turn back the clock and do it all over again I would. I’m addicted to HGTV! Oh my!! Would love to flip a house. Have a great weekend!

    • Beverly

Oh girl, I can’t watch HGTV, Barry would die lol! I go on splurges for the house and he is so tight 😂 it is a struggle!! I will share a joke ( picture) in the email for tomorrow that I sent to barry off FB. His response was epic, I knew it before I sent it what his response would be. Have a great night!!

  • Eve

Now that’s my kind of sweater, love the colors, the stripes, the material and the slouch if it
Can’t really use serious boots here on the Coast. Our high is around 60 most of the Winter.
