Affordable Statement Sweaters
Statement sweaters are particularly unique pullovers and cardigans that seem to be entering the spotlight that have gorgeous detail, beautiful patterns, and the oh-so “look at me” sleeve detail. I’m a sweater girl, and I’m pretty sure you all already know this. I am always on the look-out for the best sweater for every day, and for occasions, I want to look a little extra special. Today I all about statement sweaters, it’s a fad right now, and we are not missing this cute trend! Be sure to Pin anything you like, for it helps me grow the blog! Thanks! My favorite, and I mean my fave – is this gorgeous Camo inspired black and grey gorgeous Scoop sweater with puff sleeve detail. This is truly a statement sweater because it stands out. You only need simple jewelry for your accessories; style it with jeans or dress pants, and you will rock it all day! This fits TTS, and I am wearing a medium for reference. Check out the cuffs on the sweater also; it is feminine and can easily be dressed up for holidays.
This sweater caught my eye because of the gorgeous sleeve detail. Isn’t it so feminine and gorgeous? This is a pretty sweater to wear to work or a get-together. Add a cute necklace (mine is here), some jeans, or those leather pants if you want to really step out, lol, and a cute pair of pumps or strappy heels. Add a great winter wool coat for a fabulous chic outfit with little effort. This sweater is from Target and probably will get low in stock soon. Isn’t it perfect for a holiday party? This sweater showed up at my doorstep, but I did not order it. So I think my order got mixed up with the next item below. Nonetheless, I tried it on and actually liked it. This is perfect for leggings for a super comfortable outfit, it’s forgiving, it stands out, and I kind of like the look. This comes in black and white also and is also really cute. This is a tunic, so it fits relaxed, and I am wearing my normal size. See the Abstract Animal Tunic here.
I ordered this gorgeous Polka Dot Puff Sleeve sweater but did not receive it in my packages. I still wanted to share it because it is such a pretty winter piece, especially with white dress pants or jeans for a dressier and cute look. Scoop fits TTS, so I would buy my regular size in this. I know this sweater is not a “statement sweater,” but it has the potential to add some accessories to make it stand out. Looking at this outfit, don’t you think the scarf really makes it pop and bring the “statement” into play? Adding the long drop necklace brings it all together for a perfect casual brunch outfit with the girls. This is one of my favorite outfits right now!
Here is a closer look at the wedge booties. These are slip-on, the heel is around 2 inches (at the most), and they look great with denim and white jeans. These are a Target find, so they will go fast. See them here.
I thought I would share a few pics from our home here and there as we finish up decorating. The main focal point in this picture is the MUG! I am a sucker for a Christmas mug, and yes…I use them year-round. Christmas brings joy to me, and I cannot get enough of the fun, family traditions, decor, baking, and all the good stuff! The Merry Christmas Wood sign is from Walmart. I could not find it online, so check your local Walmart because it’s only $15. I linked the pajamas, mugs, and other items in the carousel below.

I love the warmer weather but when it falls into the 50s and even 60s, I love a cozy sweater… and a good scarf. I really like how walmart has stepped up their fashion game. Beautiful sweaters and they are so soft.

I live in GA where our coldest days are in the 50s and that combined with hot flashes …..I’m sad but I really don’t get a lot of wear out of sweaters, but when I do I usually go for a very lightweight one and usually v neck. If its really cold Ill add a plain t or denim shirt underneath. Having said all that I still find myself drawn to comfy cozy warm and wooly sweaters but I’ve learned my lesson and resist the urge to purchase them.

Beautiful Beverly!!!! I am a sweater girl, a Christmas mug girl, a Christmas decor girl and most of all a Jesus girl…..so you and I have many things in common. All of the sweaters are beautiful. The gray one is probably my favorite. On another note I haven’t commented lately because I just got over a horrific stomach bug that knocked me out of work for almost a week. I am feeling much better now….Thank you Lord!!! Oh yeah, by the way I have three Christmas trees in my house. It is a lot of work but it brings so much “joy” to me when I come home from a long stressful day at work and get to turn on the tree lights. Lisa, you and I are sisters in spirit!! We are sooo much alike!! I have wondered if you were still working night and day, I am so sorry you have been sick!! Last year I got vertigo for about 2 weeks and was sick as a dog. Lost 8 lbs in 3 days. Barry gathered me up and took me to the Dr. He said I wasn’t dying on his watch, everyone would say he poisoned me 😂😂 He cracks me up!! Oh the fa la la la la feels of Christmas 🎄 I was sitting in the “chic corner” last night looking at all the lights and felt so peaceful. Kept the TV on Hallmark and enjoyed my time alone. I live in Mississippi and I love to wear sweaters however, we usually don’t get a lot of sweater weather!! Layering is the way to go for me because it may be 35 and windy when you wake up, but by lunch it could be 70 degrees and sunny. You have highlighted some great finds lately! Although, I absolutely loved staying with him. Katy and Houston are gorgeous and everything is right there at your back door lol!! Keeping it affordable is my style!! Hey Pamela!! I love TN!! My aunt used to live there when we were small and would go over and stay with them a lot. And I LOVE Nashville!! I went there for training conventions when I was traveling and I got to take a private tour of the Titans stadium. It was AWESOME!! Plus the city is so pretty. Hey Shelly!! You may have already read this, but my husband is from the Charlotte area. He grew up in Mint Hill and has a twin. His brother is a lawyer in Gastonia, so we go there every now and then. I’m hoping for a colder winter because I’m wanting snow this year! Brooklyn is 5 so it will be fun to play with her. I’ve got the Christmas fuzzies too omgosh!! Looking for a black sweatshirt now to wear with that fabulous black and white check blouse you posted about a few months ago! Walmart had one but they sold out of my size before I could snap it up!!! Oh my gosh Kat, I bout died laughing at your comment about Ziva!! She is always by my side isn’t she? She is the most loving , humble, well trained dog I’ve ever had. She hugs us like humans and lives to be held on your hip like a 2year old lol!! She has become quite a staple piece in the pics.
