In reply to Beverly. Laurie is right on about the anterior approach for hip replacement. My Dad had it done when it was a relatively new, and he was up and around in no time with less pain at age 72. It was Lin late 2013 or early 2014.

In reply to Beverly. I work in physical therapy and my best advise for a total hip replacement would be to try and find a physician that does the anterior approach for the surgery if possible. Recovery is so much easier and quicker than the posterior approach. I truly enjoy your blog. I would like to see another hair tutorial for cute but easy ponytails or up dos that I could use for work and still look cute!

In reply to Lisa. Hey beautiful Lisa!! Your comments always make me feel good . We haven’t scheduled his surgery, it will probably be at the first of the year. Court is busy right now and he handles small claims, and he’s the only one that really knows the new HEROS act for housing. I’m so jealous that you’re going to the mountains lol!! We go to Boone a lot, we have some friends up there. I like all those pieces too!! Don’t work so hard girl! From one virtual cubicle to another ( High Five) it’s the weekendHave a great day!!

In reply to Tammy Wingate. It is olive snd so pretty!! My bedroom has the best lighting anywhere in the house, but if I don’t take pics before 2, it gets dark. We were getting a lot of wind from the hurricane and it was dark in the entire house. It blew a lot of big branches down in our yard. And took some of my furniture off my porch. Anyway, lol, girl...that sweater is the cutest and wears great. I loved it!! Have a great day Tammy!!

Beautiful Beverly....great outfits. Some of my faves are the pink vest especially paired with the black, the tan jacket, the Camo jacket looks adorable on you and of course the leopard tunic (I have one similar...go figure) I I will pray for Barry’s hip surgery as well....when is it scheduled? My husband and I are going to take a day trip back to my happy place...the mountains . It is going to be cold up there tomorrow and I love it!!! I’m still working some long hours so I am ready to take a day to “enjoy” getting out as I’m behind a computer and phone in a cubicle all day. I hope you and Barry have a great weekend. ~Lisa~

I love the first outfit, it looks like a brown tunic but it must be olive. It’s in my shopping cart! The necklace makes it pop! Love the try-on hauls.
