How To Wear Leggings 3 Ways

I have said before that leggings are now a staple piece in our wardrobe and they aren’t going anywhere. We started out wearing leggings way back in the ’90s, who remembers them? You may remember the stirrups also lol! We wore them to work out in and now we style them with booties, jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts. Nothing is off the table when it comes to the beloved black legging!

I styled a pair of ODODOS Out Pocket Tummy Control leggings with a simple tee and denim coat. The leggings are polyester and spandex, have pockets on the sides, and holds in your tummy. They fit TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. I LOVE these leggings and I have been buying them since 2018. They hold up great with wear and tear and wash and dry perfectly. The checkerboard Vans were my daughters, and I didn’t think I could pull off the look. I soon realized that I loved those Vans because they wore so well. Who wears a great sweater with leggings? Don’t we all? I found a great Mock Neck Tunic from Target that is perfect to wear with leggings. This tunic comes in several color options and Fits TTS. It does fit loosely and has a below-the-hip fit for easy and effortless layering, and makes this tunic pullover sweater is a must-have essential for any outfit in your closet. The below-the-hip fit is perfect for wearing leggings. I don’t know about you girls, but I want the backside covered up! I don’t even like looking at my backside, so I’m sure not going to make others take a peek, haha!! See the tunic here.

I styled the tunic outfit with the BEST snake print booties! These booties have a 2-inch stacked heel with cutouts at the ankles. They are very comfortable for all-day wear and looks great with any color of denim. For those of you that got the boyfriend jeans, these booties would look perfect with those and the rust sweater from Walmart. You could add a denim jacket with this for cooler days or nights also. I added the Madewell Transport Tote to carry all my “things” plus I think the leather tote polishes off the look. For an “I’m doing the laundry today” outfit, I love to wear my leggings with a tee and a comfy cardigan. This is a lilac cardigan (the color barely shows up in the pic) and has been used for a few years. I linked some lilac cardigans below that are in the Amazon Prime Sale. This one is closest to what I am wearing.

I applied 3 colors, then I blended them in, starting with the lightest. I worked my way to the darkest and somehow it all blends together like magic. The lip and cheek color I am wearing is Black Cherry. It looks dark, but don’t be scared, it’s a tinted gloss for your lips. Tap just a little on your cheeks and blend for a gorgeous fall color.
