Summer Style With Talbots & More

Do you love vibrant colors in the summer? Are you drawn to tropical flowers? If you said yes to either of those then you will love this gorgeous printed skirt from Talbots today. I cannot lie, I have been shopping the sales from Talbots and I have found the pieces to be of excellent quality and the fit to be perfect!

This canvas cotton A-Line Skirt with fruit and flowers looks SO much better in person than it does online. I took a chance when ordering this, but decided to bite the bullet since it was on sale and I am glad I did. This skirt has stretch and zips up the side. It fits TTS, I am actually wearing a 10 because I was unsure of the fit, but I could have gotten my normal size 8. This is on sale for around $27, but you can get an extra 15% off which brings it under $25! See the skirt here.

I styled it with the Time and Tru linen V-neck tank (Fits TTS) and love the summery look of the two combined. The linen tank comes in black and white, but sizes are limited. See it here. Wouldn’t this cute with a denim jacket or a cute cardigan to draw some of the colors out? More tank options are below.

Remember the Levi Boyfriend jeans from Monday’s post with the gingham top? (You can read it here) I styled the tank with the boyfriend jeans for a casual look and added my B.O.C. Eternia Sandal for an everyday casual chic look. Outfit Details: // Tank // Boyfriend Jeans // B.O.C. Sandals

If you haven’t tried the B.O.C. shoe line, I highly recommend it if you are over 40 or stand on your feet a lot. These shoes are made with comfort in mind and they deliver and manage to offer trendy looks. This is my second pair and I totally give my recommendation for their sandals. You Can see it sandal with more description here. I do wish I had gone up a half-size in these, so keep that in mind. Se the sandal here.

Cute skirt. Because my daughter can’t work from home looks like I’ll be “doing” school with both my grandchildren and also working from home. Y’all pray for me. 😉

The skirt is very cute 🙂 I wish that I were close enough to help out with the grandkids’ schooling, unfortunately that is hard to do from 10 hours away. I will be 59 in October and I find that the best shoes for more mature feet and comfort are BOC, Clarks, Grasshoppers and Skechers. I hope that you have a wonderful day! 🙂

I am so happy you featured this tank top! I have both the white and the black (scored the black on clearance for FIVE BUCKS!) and it is seriously the best linen-blend top ever!!! Very cute outfits, as always, Classy Lady!
