How To Add A Pop Of Color To Your Outfit

Neutrals are always in style and are classic pieces for any wardrobe. They are multifunctional and have a chic style about them. I wrote an Instagram post this past weekend and the caption was, “Color is power which directly influences the soul”. What a true statement, whether it be in the colorful world we live in, flowers, trees, beautiful landscapes, or our day to day wardrobe as well. No matter if it’s pieces of clothing, handbags, or accessories – color can influence us in many ways.

Today I am styling one of the faves, but with a little twist. I picked up a cute striped tank specifically for the jogger skirt below. But decided to pair it with these cute chino shorts. I think the bold stripes styled with these Relaxed 7-inch Chinos in bright papaya has a pop of vibrance that makes me happy on the inside and smile on the outside. I added a denim jacket, but a cardigan and wedges would be such a cute combo also. These shorts are on sale, they fit TTS, I am wearing an 8 for reference. See the shorts here. If you follow along on Instagram, you may have seen my stories this past weekend and noticed these fantastic racerback tanks from Madewell. I ordered a black and a white, and I am genuinely enjoying them. They fit TTS, I ordered up to a large and wish I had ordered a medium. When we are messing around the house, sometimes I throw on a pair of jean shorts and sneakers to play outside with Brooklyn. And play we DID! Check the tanks out here.
