How To Style Palm Tree Prints

In the South we tend to like colorful clothes in the summer and palm trees is a trendy print that we southern girls love. Styling a print that stands out like these palm print shorts is simpler than you think. All you have to do is pair it with the base-colored clothes for a classic look. Styling one of the most prominent prints for summer is not just for Dad’s favorite vacation shirt anymore. Remember those? My mind just drifted off to the ’80s and television shows like Magnum P. I., boy he could certainly wear a palm print huh? LOL!

I have been drawn to these shorts numerous times while browsing online and I finally decided to take the plunge and I’m glad I did. I decided to take the green and navy base colors and mix that together for an everyday casual look. I styled a navy camisole underneath a cute green short-sleeve cardigan for an everyday classic look. If I get hot, I can take the cardigan off and stay cool with a cute navy sleeveless blouse.

Classic casual or casual chic, different looks for different times of the day. Take these cute palm tree shorts into the night by adding this Ashton Top from The Limited. I decided to style this outfit with these cute Crown and Ivy Elena Block Heel Sandals. I am in LOVE with these cuties! This is a cute navy 2-5 inch heel that is wrapped in rattan. Talk about summery! I love the white and navy mixed and it looks perfect with this outfit, but I can see wearing this with white jeans or my wide-leg linen blend pant also.
