The Author of Confusion

As I scroll through social media or turn on the tv, all I am seeing is total confusion and destruction. How did we as humans get to this point after coming so far? How can we make sense of everything we see throughout our nation? Why would God allow this? My mind goes back to the Old Testament and how God’s people were warned of things to happen. The story of Moses and Pharaoh comes to mind, the story of Lot and his family leaving Sodom.

It seems there has been chaos in our world from the beginning. the Bible says the author of confusion is Satan. When chaos and confusion erupt in our personal lives we have no problem praying for healing and solutions. When it comes to chaos in our nation are we doing the same?

Keep in mind that God sees all, knows all, and HE is the author of your destiny. When we see chaos and confusion in our nation and around the world, our best defense is prayer. God is love, not confusion. God is peace, not hate. The only thing God hates is sin! Committing sin does not “right” another sin. Whether you are a believer or not, we must all come together as one…and love one another.

We must look past flaws, we must look past the sin and see the hurt. How many of us walk around daily with hurt? Many of us, I am sure. We cannot hold on to this hurt, we cannot hold on to harsh words or bad actions of others. There is pure evil out in this world and the only way we can move forward is by holding on to the hand that is love.

As we watch all these things unfold right in front of our eyes, keep in mind there is one who holds you in their hands. Keep your faith, do not lose sight of your goals, this too shall pass, we are all in this together. Pray diligently. Love one another.
