How To Style Gladiator Sandals With Jeans

Have you noticed the women’s clothing at Walmart lately? Almost every time I run in to pick up a few things, I am always walking through the ladies’ clothing to check out what’s new. Over the past few years, I have noticed the buyers are doing a much better job offering affordable fashion and keeping up with all the trends. Don’t count them out! I picked up this cute V-neck sweater for under $15 and decided to style this as a casual Spring weekend outfit. The sweater fits TTS and comes in multiple color options. I am wearing a medium for reference. It is a relaxed fit with rib-knit detail. See it here.

I paired the sweater with a pair of light denim destroyed and mended skinny jeans. These jeans are fitted through the hips with a slightly wider leg opening. I rolled these up twice to cuff my jeans to show off the sandals I am wearing. I am always getting compliments on these jeans and I have worn them multiple times on the blog. These are rated a 5-star online, they fit TTS, and they have a “cool-girl” vibe going on, plus the distressed part of the jeans and mended where no skin is showing. I am wearing a size 8 for reference, see them here.

Let’s talk about the eye-catcher part of the outfit! I purchased these cute gladiator-style sandals over a year ago, but I did find some online for you here. These sandals have a lower heel (about 2 inches) with buckle straps around the ankle. The gladiator look in sandals is still trending and are super cute with jeans or shorts. These are limited online, so I have linked a few styles that are similar below. See the strappy sandals here.

This is an easy outfit that is cute and affordable and can be worn on a date night, brunch, or time out with the girls shopping. I love wearing neutrals in the Spring and this cute sweater is perfect for those chilly nights. Adding the gladiator sandals gives the outfit a springy and edgy look, but can be worn with white sneakers, leopard flats, or booties depending on what look you are going for.

Another great look Beverly. The sweater is excellent for this time of year especially when we have had a few chilly rainy days here in NC. Now yesterday is was 80 degrees….this weather is raking a havoc on my allergies. However, I would rather have allergies than the dreaded virus. Now back to fashion….I have purchased quiet a few items of clothing, shoes and accessories from Walmart over the years that I have been pleased with. The Time and Tru brand has been a really good choice for me. Since I work in an office I purchased the white collared button down shirt from Time and Tru. It has a great fit and classic look especially if you want to put a cardigan over it or a blazer. I also bought the quilted slip on tennis shoes that come in a variety of different colors. Right now some of the colors are selling out because they were from last Fall. I have the burgundy and olive from last year. I’m wearing the olive some now on my casual Friday days at work. I purchased the white quilted ones just recently online and I will have them ready to wear soon. We just had our first case of the Coronavirus in our county yesterday. I know your county and area have been hit as well as so many others. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers as well as the whole country, etc. Stay Healthy & Be Safe. ~Lisa~

I love Time and Tru also! I keep telling my daughter to check them out and spend less and have more lol!! We are getting hit with this virus and we are ramping up testing a lot! I hope everyone stays safe through this. I have seen a lot of companies sending their employees home with the sniffles from their allergies thinking they may have it. It’s been CRAZY!! Back to fashion lol!! 😂 It sounds like you’ve got a rocking wardrobe collection. I think a lot of us ladies do and it helps to see outfit ideas to give us ideas of how we can mix and match our own clothes. Stay safe girl!! Have a great weekend!!

Yay I won! Thanks so much!!! I love shopping Walmart clothes. We all may do that more as all the stores are forced to close. Makes grocery store shopping more enjoyable if you can pop over to peek at fashion.
