Try-On Haul With Belk

Happy Tuesday girls! While I was taking a few days off last week, I ran into Belk and decided to see what their big sales were. I’m sharing some of their Doorbusters today, but you can shop all the doorbusters here. From new spring shoes to accessories, Belk has gone above and beyond with the Doorbusters going on right now. Check out a few below!

I am loving all the new colors for spring and I loved this Jacquard Stripe Bell Sleeve Top. It’s so cute and the colors scream springtime to me. This fits TTS and can be half-tucked or left out. This would pair really cute with denim shorts or white ankle pants and wedges. This also comes in a gold stripe also, see the top here. I am wearing a medium. Doesn’t it scream beach??!!

This short-sleeve Tap Yarn Sweater is a great neutral for Spring. This feels a little stiff when you first start wearing it but softens up over time. It is a little see-through, so a tank or cami would look perfect underneath it with a pair of skinny jeans and sandals. This comes in 6 different colors and fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference. See the sweaters here.

It’s still chilly in a lot of places or gets chilly at night and I really liked this spring textured cable sweater that is a perfect addition for those chilly nights. I love it with these Pull-On Skinny Jeans, that fit perfectly! I love pull-on jeans and these hold you in while giving you room to stretch and bend without feeling like your waistband is too tight. These jeans have a 5-star rating and deserve all 5 stars! I am wearing a medium in the sweater (fits TTS) and a size 8 in the jeans. See the sweater here and the jeans here.

Green is going to be a big color this spring and this Crown and Ivy Smock Ruffle Yoke Top was a favorite of mine! I LOVE this color and how it pops with the cargo pants and it will look just as good with denim shorts or jeans. This fits flowy or you can tuck it in if you prefer. It fits TTS and I am wearing a medium, see it here. This also comes in a gorgeous pink for spring also.

This Drop-Shoulder Crew Neck Sweater is a favorite of mine and is actually what I wore when I was out shopping this past week. This fits loose and can be worn off-the-shoulder if desired – if you size up. This is a very popular color and it’s going fast. I am wearing a Large in this so I could wear it off-the-shoulder with shorts this spring. Check out the sweater here, there are many other colors to choose from also.

The cargo pants are from Old Navy and were styled 2 different ways in this post. These pants are very soft and comfortable to wear and they are super cute with booties or sandals. They fit TTS, I am wearing a medium, see all the color options here. The booties are a pair that I have been wearing for 2 years now and LOVE them! I got them from Amazon and they are under $30! Navy Love

Navy was everywhere when I was out shopping so I thought I would pay a little tribute to the color that is the “other” black. Let’s first talk about the shorts…I am a huge Crown and Ivy fan when it comes to shorts. They fit TTS and have enough stretch in them that they wear great all day. Here in the South, we girls love a southern preppy look and these shorts with the seahorses on them were so adorable – I had to share! I am wearing a size 8 in these shorts and a medium in the navy peasant top. I have a few of the peasant tops by Crown and Ivy and have really enjoyed wearing them for casual or dressy days. It fits TTS and comes in 13 color options. This is a great 3/4 top to add to your workwear wardrobe as well, see the top here. Check out the shorts here.

I added a pair of striped pull-on pants with button detail at the ankles with the 3/4 blouse. I would wear a pair of strappy sandals or pumps with these pants for a dressier look. The pants have stretch in them and would really pop with a bright color top/camisole and a cute cardigan. See the pants here. I am wearing an 8 in these for reference.

As I was drifting through the racks of clothes and all the sale items, I came across this Eyelet Collared Dress and fell in love! This is so cute for work or play and it has pockets! This would look cute with sandals, wedges or a cute pair of white sneakers. Add a cardigan for chilly nights or a denim jacket for a layered look. This fits TTS and is fuller through the hips. I am wearing a size 10 in this dress since I normally wear a 10 through the chest area in dresses. I’ve added a picture of the green eyelet dress below so you can see the details better. The navy did not show up well on pictures and I wanted you to see how cute this dress really is. See the dress here.

Last week was so busy for me, that I literally had to take time to remember to breathe! One incident that happened was…Raegan dropped her phone when we were bringing in the groceries -YAY! Then we had to upgrade her phone, then switch her upgrade (I got the new phone lol) so she would have a less expensive phone. If you have kids, then you know how they are prone to break a phone! It literally took over 2 hours to get the phones switched and setup – and that was backing everything up. One thing we have learned is to use a case! Another thing I learned was to screenshot my apps. I have an iPhone and for some reason, all my apps did not automatically upload, so I was adding apps on and off all week last week. Not something I was enjoying lol! But (side note)…the iPhone 11 has an awesome camera if you are thinking about upgrading.
