Casual Weekend Look With a Denim Jacket

Hello Thursday! I missed a post this week and I shied away from telling you girls why, so today I’m spilling the beans. Nothing major, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had these problems. I’ve been going to the chiropractor to realign my spine and they have been using an activator to adjust me slowly. An activator is an instrument that delivers a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

They use this to help with migraines and sinus issues also. Well, it has done the exact opposite on my sinuses. Each time she has jolted my cheekbones and above my eyebrows, I have had the worst migraine of my life. This last one took me to the ER and I was out of sorts for a few days. So…has anyone had any issues with the activator and sinuses from a chiropractor? I’d love to hear your thoughts or stories!

Today I am sharing a super cute and flowy, fun dress I found at Target a few weeks back. It’s not warm enough to wear this without a jacket or a cardigan, so I opted for a denim jacket and an over the knee boot “look” for a night out this past weekend.

The dress is very eyecatching and it has a classic, tiered design, with cute, delicate embroidery detail. Definitely size down in this dress, it’s very roomy! I am wearing a small for reference. You can see the embroidery detail better in the picture below. This is a perfect piece for layering for the Spring or on chilly nights.

For warmer days I can wear this with wedges and a cute cardi or style ankle boots when it’s warm enough to go bare legged. This is also a great dress for the beach since we like to go as often as we can, I can wear this with flip flops for a beachy casual look. See the dress here. Not to mention this is a great dress to go out to eat in when you are wanting a little extra room when hitting the buffet. I have a lot of experience in buffet eating (LOL), Barry and I both believe in getting our money’s worth when we go out at the beach to a big buffet – so this is perfect for me!

I got my jacket from Amazon a year or so ago and have really gotten my money’s worth. This is a Lee Riders Stretch Denim Jacket, it fits TTS and I am wearing a medium. If you are looking for a denim jacket, I strongly recommend this one. It wears great, washes up perfectly (I hang mine to dry) and is reasonably priced. I got my boots a year ago and they are not available now, but I did find some that are similar that are at a great price point. Raegan and I are going to be working on a little landscaping today, I’m trying to get a headstart this year. Last year seems like it was a disaster!
