Casual Outfits Tuesday & What I Wore!

Good Tuesday morning girls! It has been a little busy this week getting back in the swing of things after the holiday. I have some really cute outfits to post this week, so keep an eye out! I wanted to share some outfits that I wore and put on social media that were very popular, plus some items from the Try-on Haul are now online and they are cute!

I am a laid back, casual kinda girl most days and this outfit is one of my favorites. It’s kind of a classic look with the sweater and white tee, I changed it up and added distressed jeans and white sneakers. You could wear this with Sorel boots also, which would be super cute and gives it an outdoors or winter look. Outfit Details // Sweater // Tee // Jeans // Sneakers // Fearless Bracelet

Sunday I wore the Mixed Media blouse that was SO popular during the weekend. I decided to style it with the Olive Moto Jacket and tan booties. This Moto Jacket is super soft and was very warm on that chilly day. Outfit Details // Jacket // Blouse // Jeans // Booties // Bracelet Cuff

This cardigan is from the Belk Try-On Haul last week, at the time it was not online, but it is now! This comes in a Black, Olive, and Spice Red! It looks super cute with the olive plaid blouse and tall black boots. Outfit Details // Cardigan // Plaid Blouse // Jeans // Boots (similar) // Bracelet Combo

Another sweater that was not online last week is this gorgeous Eyelash Sweater! This is so comfortable and the fuzzies on it made me feel “girly” lol! I loved the neckline and the overall look. It does run a little big, so I would size down. Outfit Details // Sweater // Jeans // Boots (similar)

I love a Christmas sweater or shirt and this sweatshirt called my name. As a southern girl, we tend to like camo or anything close. Raegan called this a tie-dye look, it may be – but I went with camo-isque description ha! Plus, it has Fa La La La La on it! Yes, please! Outfit Details // Sweatshirt // Jeans // Boots (similar)

Out of all these looks, the first one was my favorite. It is casual but classic, I added a camel long wool coat like this and felt like Jennifer Lopez. She wears long wool coats a lot with her street style.

Which was your favorite?

I am curious to know how many of you shop from home and don’t like to get out in the crowds and who waits till the last minute? I love to shop online and Barry loves to wait till Christmas Eve…any other husbands like that?

I am baking cookies and candies today, I am going to be giving some of these away as presents this year to a few close friends. What are you girls doing today?

The first one is also my favorite as I have something similar on right now as we have a tax appt. bright and early this morning. What size are you wearing please….there are so many colors in that sweatshirt so I think I’m going to have to buy one !! With that being said, I haven’t done well with ordering clothes on-line lately. More have gone back then I have kept but seems like I just don’t give up. When I hit on the link for the “tee”, it took me to men’s crewneck tees…is that what yours is. I a couple new ones to wear under tops like the sweatshirt. I did do a lot of the kids shopping via home but there are also a few things I pick up in store but I NEVER wait until Christmas Eve…LOL As far as my hubby shopping…I do the majority of it so that’s why it gets done ahead of time. I haven’t started my baking yet so enjoy your day with your goody making.

Lol!!! You crack me up Sandy!! I must have linked it wrong, I will change that. Mine is a woman’s-I am wearing a medium. That’s my normal size. Don’t give up buying online, I still pick out things that look horrible at times. In my mind it looks like it will look great until I actually try it on ha!! I always check the measurements on the clothes though. You just never know!! Oh, we had a blast today but now Barry wants sausage balls so I will be making them tomorrow ❤️❤️

Well…since not much of the crew neck is showing I thought it “could” be possible you were wearing a mens tee ;). Ok, I have the sweater in my cart. It was really hard deciding on the color so if the first one fits, I can always get another!! So did Barry keep coming in the kitchen wanting to taste-test the candy?? Sausage balls…hmm, never heard of those.

        • Beverly

Wait….you’ve never had sausage balls?? Girl!! They are so good. They have sausage, cheese, and bisquick mixed together. Oh my gosh. They are so good!! Barry came home today not feeling well. He ate dinner and went straight to bed. I kept him at arms length cause I can’t be getting sick ha! I have been known to wear Chase’s tees -but don’t tell him. Lord, he gets so mad. Raegan and I are always stealing Barry and Chase’s clothes. They are baggy and wear great lol!! And the colors are all so pretty!! I’m going to get me a couple more 😳

Good morning! My favorites today are the first outfit and the eyelash sweater. I had the same question as Sandy about the tee shirt. As for Christmas shopping, I don’t have much to do. For the past few years Troy and I have just budgeted a certain amount of money for each of us and we spend it on whatever we want for ourselves. I would love to still buy gifts for each other but he can never come up with any ideas or suggestions as to what he would like. Since the majority of the kids and grand kids are in Florida we usually give gift cards. However, this year they are wanting to do more experiences versus gifts so we will give them all cash and then they can use it for some sort of excursions. I think when we are there for Christmas we will be doing some of those things with them. I think one of the families wants to do an escape room adventure. I will be shopping for each of them for their favorite candy and then they each have a little something to open.I did all of my errands yesterday except for shopping for baking ingredients. I have a lot of baking in my future for sure! I think since it is another cold day here today that I will focus on inside projects. Tomorrow Troy leaves to go to a conference and will return on Friday. I love him so very much but I am very much looking forward to him being away 😉 I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and don’t need to stop mid project to prepare meals etc. I love some alone time every now and then. I hope that your week is going well so far!

I busted out laughing when you said you were wanting time alone…you know I love my time alone ha! OK, I fixed the links…sorry and thanks for the heads up! With all the baking you do, you should do some quick videos or post your recipes on Pinterest. Desserts always do well! I like the idea of the escape room – sounds fun! We decided this year that we would all draw names and spend $100 on that person and we would all focus on buying gifts for Brooklyn. It’s more for her than us anyways. We are starting to downsize our spending because we go crazy if we don’t have a budget ha! Great ideas!! And enjoy yourself with your time off!

Troy, as you know, is “Mr. Budget” so for the past few years we have everything budgeted for Christmas right down to stamps for the Christmas cards and baking ingredients. We have divided the total by 12 and then save that amount aside every month in our budget so that if we come across items during the year we have the money and we don’t typically go over budget. We even have a category for misc in case we need to buy any new decorations for the inside or outside. With 7 children, 10 grand children, parents etc it can get costly pretty quickly and doing it this way takes a lot of stress off from us plus we don’t go into debt and regret purchases that we have made.

Oh my gosh! I had no clue your family was that HUGE!!! I’d budget too lol!! Things were crazy here today, you will see when you read the blog. Girl I’m whopped!!!! Xoxo
