Must-Have Winter Boots

Happy Saturday girls! Today I am talking about winter boots – we all need them at some point, especially if you get snow or rain a lot in the winter months. Now is the time to purchase boots before sizes start getting limited.

We would take a trip to the mountains every year and if you didn’t have a good pair of boots, you were screwed. Sorry…but it’s true! I have had cheaper boots and layer socks on my feet so my toes would not feel like ice blocks. About 10 years ago, I broke down and started buying boots that were made for snow or rain and boy did it make a difference.

Some of you may not know that before I was a blogger, I was a Corporate Trainer and our Home Office was located in Illinois. I traveled almost every week by plane or by car to every state up and down the East Coast and when the winter months hit, I was traveling in snow or rain and my boots were always with me. (Hence the reason we bought a Jeep Wrangler to get through snowstorms)

I am a lover of Sperry Rain Boots, I wear them throughout the colder months, even if it’s not raining. Add a pair of Sorel Faux Fur Socks and your feet and toes will never get cold. I have a few pair of these, my favorite is number four and the Saltwater Quilted in Black.

After freezing through many snowstorms in Illinois, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania I decided to invest in Sorel Winter Boots. Ladies, these are the best boots I have tried yet. Many women like the Joan of Arctic style (number seven), but I decided on the Tivoli II (number one) and these are not only stylish, but my feet stayed warm and dry. I was known for wearing these boots to work with my slacks and pulling out my work shoes from my backpack. Beverly didn’t care…Beverly was keeping her toes warm! LOL!

I also wear these with jeans, a sweater, a big scarf, and a puffer jacket in the winter as a casual outfit for an everyday look. It’s super cute, casual and I personally love the look! I wear them with long tunic sweaters and leggings also!

Let’s talk about the Bearpaw Wildwood Boot (number eight) for just a moment. I am a lover of Ugg boots, but we have also purchased Bearpaw boots. Raegan (my 19-year old daughter) prefers Bearpaw over Ugg. These Wildwood Boots are snug and will keep your feet warm and they also have a Neverwet Protection keeps out moisture while prevents stains from forming on the suede upper. Aren’t they cute with the socks peeping out?

Last year around Christmas I started looking Raegan a pair of new winter boots and was sadly disappointed when I found out all the good brands were out of stock, so don’t wait – they will get gone fast. With that being said, I wanted to share that most of these are linked through DSW and you can use AfterPay to split your payments up. That’s exactly what I did last week to buy Raegan a new pair for Christmas. Paying a little every two weeks is much easier than chunking a wad out at once. When you have kids, you learn to spread it out for Christmas (especially when your husband has you on a budget ha!).

Have you purchased Winter Boots this year?

Love my sperry boots. Bought them 2 years ago and they still look new! They have come in handy, especially living at the beach if they get wet . I do like those brown suede ones you posted…like I need another pair, lol. Come see us sometime!

How ironic that I just bought a pair of boots like this style a month ago…not sperry….but same style. I should have waited for your “boot” post if I had known it was coming…LOL I love all the different kinds you showed and…I will be getting a pair of the WARM socks as my feet get cold also. Now…could you please find me something to keep my fingers warm when I’m outside 😉 Girl…you were smart in wearing boots to work and carrying shoes to change into. That was very smart. Hope you had fun with Brooklyn yesterday. Kelly Palmer I am finally starting to feel better. It’s been a long three weeks with this nasty stuff and the cold flu season is just barely starting…ugh

I’m so glad you two are feeling better!! I’ve been praying and thinking of you. I thought I better put out a boot post since I’ve been looking Raegan new boots. Last year the inventory was horrible. Those socks are on point girl!! Best socks for cold weather. I was in snow a lot and I mean a lot. I remember driving through 6 states and 1 1/2 hours into NC before I saw dead grass. I drove all night scared to death I was going to get snowed in lol. I was so glad we bought that Jeep!! Brooklyn and I had a great time, draining lol!! I’m getting older, or I need to move more. Idk which ha!! I will look into the gloves. I kept those hot packs you can get at Walmart in my pockets to keep my hands warm when I was in Illinois. But some good fur gloves would have been nice. Stay feeling good and have a great day ❤️

Beverly, those Sorel boots are so cute! Are they more for wearing just running errands in or can you wear them to go for a walk (about 1 mile) in?
