Chambray On Denim

Happy Hump Day! Mom and I are very busy today, we are dropping her car off at the shop then headed to the doctor’s office then stopping by a few stores on the way home. Both of our schedules seem to be busy or chaotic, so I really enjoy the time I get to spend with her, even if it is an appointment to the doctor.

I decided I was going to share some things today that I have Pinned on Pinterest that are my everyday outfits. These Pins are doing very well, so I thought you girls would like them also. These 2 are casual outfits that are styled with the fur slippers that have been so popular in the past few years. The first time I saw these slippers I thought they were the ugliest things I had ever seen, I knew I would not be buying any….but here we are and I have a pair LOL!

I guess you could say they grew on me over the years, so I thought I would try a pair. I purchased these from Target, I wanted the Steve Madden Brinly Mule, but before I spent more than $25 I wanted to make sure I liked them. And I do! These mules wear so well and they have been on my feet for the past 3 days constantly. I was looking for a new pair of bedroom shoes and decided I could use these as slippers and get the more expensive ones later. Let’s just say these from Target (that I love) will be my slippers and the Brinly Mules are on the way via FedEx. I’m a Steve Madden FAN! A huge Fan!

I thought since I was wearing a lot of denim, a nice neutral color would be perfect for a handbag. This cute little blush crossbody is also from Target and comes in 4 more colors, see it here.

My outfit is something I have been wearing for years. This light beige sweater is from The Loft that was purchased at least 10 years ago, see a similar one here. I love wearing a chambray shirt (mine is from Old Navy) underneath my sweaters, it’s got a cool vibe to it – at least I think so LOL! The jeans are my favorites from American Eagle, see them here.

I used this photo in an Instagram story and one of my followers messaged me and said,” I love you, but I hate those shoes” HAHA! I got a good laugh out of that because I hated these shoes at first too. Although, the first ones I saw were Gucci and were around $995 for a pair—um…NO!

I styled these mules with the striped sweater and a black tank and it was a HUGE hit on Pinterest, so I thought I would share it also. You can see how I styled the striped sweater with a skirt here. You never know what’s going to take off when you Pin your own clothes and it seems the casual styles get repinned the most. We all must love casual – I certainly do!

My Cozy Spot

I was taking some pictures and playing with the Adobe Photo Editor and posted some pics on my stories on Instagram and Facebook and thought I would share with you girls. The spot beside the pillow with the truck on it, is my spot…can you tell? I jumped up and started clicking before I straightened the cushions, sorry!

I covered my pillows with Fall Pillow Covers, I found these on Amazon, 4 for $15.99 (18×18) and the Buffalo Check, 2 for $10.99 (20×20). These are inexpensive ways to change the look of a room for different seasons or occasions. Don‘t you just love that little truck?

This is my first time buying pillow covers from Amazon and I was pleasantly pleased, especially for the price! Do you girls ever cover your pillows? Or buy new ones?
