Casual Dress Friday: Encore of the Rib Knit Dress

Happy Friday! Who doesn’t get excited about the weekend? You girls know that I love my Hallmark Channel and I look forward to Friday’s to watch one of their Christmas movies – I’m slightly obsessed! If any of you girls love the Christmas Movies, make sure you scroll all the way down – I have a lineup of the movies that are coming!

This little Rib-Knit Dress I picked up from Target has been such a hit, I had show it as a casual outfit. I threw this on this week to run errands and thought I would share. I love a knit or very relaxed dress for work and play. You can dress these up or down – add a scarf and it takes it up another notch! I carry my Dupe LV bag all the time, but I keep my Vera Bradley wallet (crossbody) inside so I can grab it and go. I love a cute crossbody wallet with a casual look like this. This outfit is quick and easy, just add a denim jacket and some tennis shoes (mine are Converse Chucks) and you are ready to walk out the door. Plus you look cute as a button! This is an easy Fall Transition outfit that is perfect! Trade the denim jacket for a longer cardigan or blazer and you have a Casual Friday work outfit!

I wanted my jewelry to be on the casual side, so I decided on a dogtag necklace. This one is called My Story, you can personalize it any way you like or you a signature design like mine, “Be Still And Know”. See it HERE.

Additional Way To Style

This dress has been VERY popular on the blog and social media outlets, so why not see different ways to style this little charm? The middle picture below is the picture I showed Tuesday, but there are many ways to wear this. As I was looking through my closet, I noticed my leopard boots and thought they would go great with this color…and I loved the look! I added a cocoon taupe/gray cardigan to complete the look. Since this is a cocoon cardigan, it is longer in the back and shorter in the front, but can still be worn with a knee-length dress.

I got my leopard boots from Sole Society last year and they only have size 5’s left, so I have linked similar boots below. If you don’t have a pair of leopard boots, I would highly recommend that you grab a pair. They are stylish and can be incorporated into your wardrobe to give you all kinds of outfits! And don’t forget leopard or cheetah print flats!
