Where Have I Been? It Has Not Been Pretty…

Hey ladies!! It seems like it has been so long since I have sat down to write a post. I’m not going to bore you with everything that has been going on, so I will give you girls the short version.

Last Sunday I noticed I was feeling a tad bit nauseous, but nothing horrible. Going about my day was easy, but Monday came and it was a totally different story. I literally thought I was going to die by dinner time with overwhelming feelings of nausea. The kids were even asking if I could be “with child”…Ummm…NO!!

By early Tuesday morning, I was full-blown sick. I could not keep water down, popsicles, ice chips…nothing! By Wednesday I had dropped 7 pounds and Barry couldn’t take it anymore and hauled me ( literally) to an Urgent Care.

I was having no other symptoms other than nausea and not being able to hold anything down, so we were at a loss. It was like I was having the worst pregnancy ever. I did get medication for nausea and by Wednesday night I had full-blown vertigo. Nausea was subsiding, but vertigo is the worst!

I have never had vertigo so this was totally new and scary for me. I have not been able to keep my head level, walk straight, or hardly get out of the bed this entire week.

Around lunch, Saturday I could tell I could walk down the halls without holding on to the walls or chair railing and I could move my head without feeling like I was going to fall over. Which was the most wonderful feeling in the world!! Did I mention your head feels like it weighs 40 lbs??

I am not 100%, but I can tell I’m on the mend. I have gotten a few emails and messages on Social Media, so I know I needed to let you girls know what was going on. Sorry it has taken this long, I really had no choice since I could not use a laptop without my head spinning like I was in a drunken stooper.

One thing that I have realized during this past week is I am blessed to have good health. For those of you that deal with chronic pain or illness, my heart goes out to each and every one of you. Lying in a bed waiting to live life or feel just a tad bit better is one of the worst feelings I have ever experienced.

Keep My Love Alive

Hopefully, I will be in full swing this week and I will be able to sit at a desk and work. Thank you all for the messages, comments, and emails!! It has meant so much to me!! You all are such wonderful ladies and friends!! Have a great rest of the weekend!!

I’ve been praying for you. God is restoring my vision. I am so grateful. I, too, have lived a life of abundant health and have never had such a battle of the last several weeks. I’ve relied on God’s hand and my faith has gone strongly. My PVD symptoms are lessening and my heart is filled with hope and joy. God is the great physician and others are simply messengers. I applied for Mediavine this week. Time to make some moulah. God bless.

Glad you are feeling better. Feeling under the weather (that does not do what you experienced justice) but it really does make you appreciate your good health.

So glad to hear that you are doing better! Troy and I have had some sort of what we thought was a stomach virus so I started to up my intake of probiotics, took some activated charcoal capsules and did drops of essential oil in my navel for the nausea. I started to feel better then we both got hit with body aches, chills, headache, sore throat etc. Not sure if it the same virus or something that we got because our immune system was already low from the first stuff. Tired of feeling bad! I too have vertigo due to a vehicle accident that I was in years ago. Fortunately I have become accustomed to it so I don’t really notice it unless I get a head cold or something going on with my sinuses. It is definitely one of the worst feeling when your mind wants to do everyday things but your body and health won’t cooperate. It makes me all the more thankful when I have good health days that’s for sure! I am praying that you continue to improve and have a great upcoming week!!

Wow!! You guys are really catching bugs bless your heart!! I hope it continues to get better and I can get back to work, this is for the birds!! I never thought how bad it was when people would say they have it—until now!! They said it was gastric vertigo. That’s why I couldn’t keep anything on my stomach. So crazy!! And I’m so over it!! Praying for you and Troy too!!! Hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I have never had vertigo but I worked with a sweet lady that had vertigo. It was awful and the people around feel helpless because you can’t do anything to help. Praying for you sweet lady.
