Wow!! What a nice compliment!! You do have a glow about you Kelly!! But for her to go out of her way was really awesome! I was telling Barry this past week, the only person I want to please is the Lord! As I have gotten older I realize the importance of staying close to him and trying to be an example to my children and grandchild. Thanks for this comment!! I loved it!!! Just the other day at work a woman came in. I greeted her as she walked in then went about my work. After she shopped for a little while she came over and said, “You are a Christian aren’t you”. I said yes I am. She said something to the effect that as she has gotten closer to the Lord He has given her the ability to discern Christians from those that aren’t believers. She also said that typically she has to look a person in the face and then she sees like a kind of glow come from their face. She said, “you must have a very strong faith because I got this knowing that you are a Christian just by getting a side ward glimpse of you and usually I have to look at someone directly face to face”. This is probably one of the nicest compliments that I have ever received! It is nice to be complimented on one’s look, how we dress, our manners ect but to me the highest compliment is that someone can see my Lord and Savior in me! I am far from perfect and my prayer each day is to be a better person than I was the day before. We have always had the need for the Lord in our lives but in this day and time it is imperative to closely follow Him and bring up our children and grand children to do the same. It is a scary time for sure but thank God that we know how the story ends!!
