Cookie Dough S’mores

Happy Friday everyone! The past few days have been jammed packed and from reading comments and emails, some of you have been very busy also! We finally picked out our countertops yesterday and let me tell ya, that was a huge undertaking! You never know what you’re getting when you are looking at little samples. I like to see a bigger picture of what countertops are going to look like. Am I the only one like that? We finished up picking our furniture out, but we have not decided on flooring yet…sighhh!

One thing that we LOVE to do is fix s’mores when Brooklyn is spending time here, she absolutely loves it! I love being outside at the fire pit, but when you can’t be out there – I have found an alternative that is delish! I recently found a recipe (at happygoluckyblog.com I think you will like her!) that will NOT stay in your home long and it has cookie dough! Score! Your kids or grandkids are going to love this one!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 roll of chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray square pan with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Add 3/4 cup of the graham cracker crumbs and mix in with cookie dough. Add half the dough into bottom of pan and back for 12-14 minutes.
  3. Add chocolate chips and press into cookie dough. Spread marshmallow creme over cookie dough. Add remaining graham crackers.
  4. Crumble remaining cookie dough over marshmallow cream and graham crackers.
  5. Bake for an additional 20 -25 minutes.

This is so good! Add some ice cream and a little cool whip and OH MY GAH!!!! Enjoy!!!!

We are off taking pictures today so we will be a bit busy. I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by the blog! Enjoy your weekend ladies!! What are you ladies doing this weekend?

Good morning!! I got up early this morning to take one of our cats to the vet for her annual checkup and it went well. I will probably spend the rest of the day doing housework and get caught up on some ironing. We have a steam refresh function on our dryer but some things I just like to actually iron. I am like you and I have a difficult time seeing the “big picture” with tiny little samples. I try to find larger pictures of wall color or decor in magazines and such so that I can get a better visual of what it will look like. I am excited for you and can’t wait to see the finished product! I was suppose to work this weekend but a woman at work wanted to work my hours and Troy has been super busy with first of the year school admissions so I took her up on it. I don’t work again until next Wednesday. We don’t have any definite plans but are hoping to play some miniature golf or take in a movie or something fun. This recipe looks good and easy so I will pin it and try it out on the grand babies next time that we get together 🙂 I have a 40th High School reunion coming up in October and wonder if you have any suggestions for casual outfits to wear to such an occasion? The reunion is in N.H. and will be the first weekend in October (which happens to be my birthday weekend). We will get together to decorate a float then ride on the float the next day in the Homecoming parade, watch the High School homecoming football game after that then have a casual get together later that night. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and hope that you have a fabulous weekend!!
