In reply to Kelly Palmer. You are so right!! The Lord is using you!! Snake free sounds good. We have never had a problem with snakes and our little neighbor (8 years old) told me my next door neighbor was but by a black snake a few weeks ago. I was in shock-where are these boogers coming from!! I’ve been here almost 15 years and I’ve seen 1 snake. Ewwww lol

Beverly they say that timing is everything and I know even though you were out looking at properties, God stirred you to Barry’s coworkers home so that the two of them could have one last time together. I wish that the WORD flowed as easily from my mouth as it does yours….your Sunday posts are so meaningful and really make me think on whatever topic you choose to talk about and today I know that I NEED to do much better about making time for the Lord every day and I need to make my daily devotions more of a top priority and not just “if I have time”. I am more like Barry in that I am not comfortable talking openly about Faith. And knowing how many times God answered my prayers during the time my kids were on vacation and we were watching their two little ones, I should be shouting from the rooftops of Gods love and watching over us. And you talked about focusing on the things that you can change and not worrying about the things you can’t change. Please keep reminding me of this because I have not learned how to do this yet. You referred to John 14:6…this was my Confirmation verse. Prayers that you and Barry look at your options of moving versus building on. I’m assuming you have the room to do that since you mentioned it. And Kelly…you are quite a bit closer to Beverly then I am here in Nebraska to help with the move 😉 It is church for us with my folks, I made dinner to take and have with them and then will be back home and probably work on bookwork since I got behind on that last week.

Good Sunday morning! I am so sorry to hear that you and your husband have both lost someone close to you. I know that you are reaching people for the Lord through this blog and that is a wonderful thing. We never know how many people we are reaching just by how we treat people and they see Christ through us. I quite often ask my customers at work what their name is and tell them that I will be praying for them. Some are surprised that I would take the time to do that and you can see the appreciation in their eyes. One of my co-workers is of a different faith and she has asked me questions about Christianity. I noticed that after I shared my faith with her and our beliefs that I was hardly ever scheduled with her. I know that the devil doesn’t want her to see the truth and therefore is trying to keep her from hearing it but I will continue to pray for her and her family. We have become very close and enjoy working together every chance that we get. I know that God is working on her heart 🙂 We may not always see the fruit of the seeds that we plant in people’s minds and hearts but I know that my Lord is faithful!! I am so excited for you and Barry and will be praying that you find the perfect (snake free) home and that things will go smoothly. I hope that we both have a much better week ahead of us!
