Beverly I am definitely going to go back and try to read up on your posts since I was just directed to you a couple weeks ago. After reading your post today it makes me feel so guilty that my biggest worry lately is how the body changed after menopause and I’m having a hard time accepting that when you have been through so much worse but handed it over to God and that’s what I need to do. My hubby loves me the way I am and we too do not get each other gifts but he is getting a couple sugar cookies this year that the local boutique was selling. And I can’t wait to see the best maxi dress as I love wearing them in the summer!

I loved this blog and glad I checked in to see it. Life is so hard and I don’t care who you are, you’ve most likely had your share of problems. Some days I look back and wonder how I’ve made it this far. I know it’s only by my faith that has gotten me through many times. At this age all I want to do is keep my feet moving and remain in good health. One day at a time and always a two miler to lift my spirits.

I’m like you, I’m a thrifty purse shopper. I’m showing one tomorrow, but a few trends that you can get cheap. I have not bought them yet, but I will soon. What a wonderful post! Like you I went through a very difficult marriage and divorce. I had gotten to the point in my life where I also gave it all over to the Lord and asked that if I were to be in a relationship again then he would have to be the one to bring that person to me. Well, He did! He brought me a wonderful loving and Godly man and I thank the Lord for him each and every day! It is amazing what God can and will do for us if we will just get out of our own way and let Him bring the blessings to us. I look forward to your post about the purses and was actually thinking that I wish you would post something about purses. I typically get a new purse maybe 2 or 3 times per year. I see on a lot of fashion blogs where the blogger seems to have a different purse with every outfit and the price of the majority of the purses that they show are very expensive. I am hoping that you can address what a person on a budget can do. Have a great Sunday and Happy Valentine’s week 🙂
