6 Ways to Style a Denim Jacket

Happy Saturday everyone! I have been pulling outfits together with a denim jacket for the past couple of weeks. I think I have finally come up with a few ideas that are easy to put together and can transition into the spring.

First thing I want to say is I am in LOVE with this denim jacket I got from Amazon. It wears so well, it’s soft, it has spandex in it for even more comfort and it practically goes with everything! I told you in a previous post that I got the jacket from Amazon at a really great price point. It’s a Lee Riders Stretch Denim Jacket in Indigo. If you are looking a great wearing denim jacket, jump on this one! You won’t be disappointed!!

I decided to go casual in this first picture. I have on a plain white v-neck tee, with Old Navy Mid-Rise Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans with Keds Suede Double Decker Slip Ons. These are some of my favorite tennis shoes to wear. You will notice I wear them a lot in my pictures that are on Pinterest. So comfy and they look good with jeans and shorts!

I paired the denim jacket with a dress I got from Old Navy, it is on clearance right now and I LOVE this dress. It’s short sleeves and it has plenty of room in it, it’s a High-Neck Ruffle Trim Swing Dress in Black. (It comes in a really pretty burgundy too! I unbuttoned the top button to give it a more casual look). I got so many compliments while I was out with my mom that I had to make sure this outfit was in the post. The boots are suede black with chunky heels by Milanoo.

The cute necklaces I added with this outfit is from Jbloom Designs, this is a fairly new Christian Based Direct Sales Company. What I love about this brand of jewelry is it’s very trendy and it is a great price. The option to personalize and tell YOUR story almost every day that you put a piece on is priceless to me. I love to look down at a bracelet and see “Don”t Give Up”, or look in the mirror and see the verse Proverbs 31:25 on my necklace. Not to mention I have pieces that have my kids names and birthdates, wedding date and a “Moma Bear” with 2 little cubs…LOVE IT!! You can browse JBloom from the Menu Bar up above or click on the picture below.

This cute white “sparkly” wrap bracelet is one of my faves ( called a Silver Nite 3 Wrap Bracelet and fits up to a 7.5 wrist), I paired it with a silver cuff that says “Don’t Give Up”, called the Midtowne Bangle.

This outfit is actually my daughter’s jumpsuit from last summer. It’s cropped with spaghetti straps. So this was a perfect little outfit to wear the denim jacket with and pair it with a suede block heel knee high boots in taupe. These are sold out right now, but I found some similar HERE.

I paired a back shirt with some Camo pants and cognac boots. I LOVED wearing this outfit!! And you will too! Camo Pants from The Loft are the best wearing ones I have tried and the cognac boots are Isaac Mizrahi Live! Suede Ankle Boots with Wedge Heel…these are comfortable and the heel is not bad since it is a wedge. The heel is about 2.5 inches.

These jeans are from American Eagle and look great on every body shape. They fit well, they don’t stretch out so much you have to pull them up and they make your legs look attractive. The top is a striped, black and white top with tan suede patches on the elbows. I got this from Amazon and have worn it quite a few times since it arrived! The boots were purchased from a local Boutique and are sold out, I looked all over on the internet and found some on Amazon, Pierre Dumas Rimini booties. There are some left…hurry though! These are very high in demand and are selling fast!

This is another favorite of mine! You can get all the outfit details by clicking the picture. The necklace is a JBloom Design original, the Galina Glass Bead Necklace with cabernet colored denim jeggings by JustFab. And my old favorite Pierre Dumas Rimini Booties!

I hope you girls liked the different ideas in the post. There are so many ways to wear a denim jacket, you can be creative and have a blast coming up with different outfit ideas! Try it with a maxi dress, or even some leggings with a longer top and boots..too cute! I should have done that one!! LOL
