Fall Fashion Trends for 2018 – It’s All About the Sleeves

Hello friends! Fall is upon us and it brings with it some fun new trends. In recent posts, I’ve shared some styling ideas and my picks in fashion for the Summer. But I’m ready to get to the Fall and check out the hottest trends. Off-the-shoulder and bell sleeve tops are still hot, as seen in long sleeves and sweaters for the cooler months. I love these looks, they are flattering for every woman and I’m seeing them everywhere!!

There is a twist on the bell sleeve trend that I am thoroughly loving and it’s a HUGE throwback to us 80’s kids!It’s being called the ‘balloon’ or ‘blouson’ sleeve and is definitely a trend that comes from the popular bell shape; with the end of the bell gathered back in to finish off the sleeve. Sometimes the sleeve ends with a regular narrow shape at the wrist. Other tops with this trend finish off the sleeve with a cute little tie and ruffle. This sleeve with the balloon bottom is so cute both in a slouchy sweater for a casual look and on a dressy top that is work appropriate.
